MCWD staff and contractors have started on the 2025 summer construction project schedule.

In Progress:

Phase two of the District’s campus paving and drainage rehabilitation. This will improve site infrastructure.

Coming Soon:

• Water holding tanks, T-7 and the Lake Mary backwash tank will be recoated and rehabilitated. This will significantly extend the life of these valuable facilities.
• New monitoring wells will be constructed at Laurel Pond, where treated wastewater is discharged.
• A potable water pipeline will be installed to add redundancy to the water distribution system for a portion of town.
• Some additional fire hydrants will be installed around the wildland urban interface.
